As a member of our team, you will work in a creative, family-like atmosphere where there is a priority on opportunities for growth, collaboration between teams and on making an impact by giving back to our communities.Your New Opportunity Robinson Engineering, Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to support daily accounting operations. This position is responsible for invoice approvals, processing vendor invoices, reviewing employee expense reports, managing vendor accounts, and supporting project accounting functions in a multi-company environment.Manage the centralized accounts payable email inboxProcess and monitor monthly company credit cardsReview, code, and process vendor invoicesFollow up with project managers for project numbers and invoice approvalsReview vendor, prior to entry, for pricing fluctuations and discrepanciesLog into vendor portals to retrieve invoices and statementsReview and approve employee expense reports for accuracy, documentation, and project codingMaintain vendor records and assist with 1099 reportingSupport month-end close, accruals, and accounts payable reconciliationsAssist with project accounting, job cost tracking, and expense allocationsCommunicate with vendors, project managers, and employees to provide all necessary documentation to resolve issues and obtain approvalsCommunicate daily with Robinson accounting staff on any open itemsYour Background and CredentialsAssociate Degree in Accounting or Business preferred4+ years of accounts payable experience preferredKnowledge of project accounting and accrual accounting principlesExperience reviewing and processing employee expense reportsExperience working in a multi-company accounting environment is a plusExperience in engineering, consulting, construction preferredDeltek Vantagepoint experience is a plusProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and TeamsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsYour PerksYou will work in a flexible workplace with a hybrid work schedule which will allow you a healthy work/life balance. Final compensation is dependent on multiple factors including years of experience, any applicable licensure and/or certifications, and internal pay structures.
