Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front-desk experience
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and process billing and co-pays accurately
• Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance
• Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and follow up on appointment reminders
• Assist with optical dispensing support and frame selection coordination as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a medical, dental, or optometry front office setting preferred
• Familiarity with insurance verification and medical billing processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) or practice management software
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and record-keeping abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or healthcare certification a plus
