Senior Project Manager InfrastructureOur client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide leadership and oversight for large-scale structured cabling and integrated systems projects in the Cedar Rapids market. This position will be responsible for guiding projects from initial planning through completion while ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and quality requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesTake overall ownership of assigned projects from initial kickoff through final completion and close-out.Serve as a senior point of contact for customers, providing professional leadership and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.Direct project teams and resources to ensure work is properly planned, coordinated, and executed.Establish project priorities and execution strategies that align with customer requirements and organizational objectives.Monitor project schedules, budgets, scope, and deliverables to maintain consistent progress and successful outcomes.Coordinate internal teams, field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and other project resources to support efficient project delivery.Review contract requirements and ensure project execution remains aligned with approved plans, specifications, schedules, and commercial terms.Identify potential scope changes and project impacts early, working through appropriate change management processes to protect project performance.Manage projects across a variety of contract structures, including lump sum, GMP/cost-plus, unit price, design-build, design-assist, time and material, and similar agreements.Maintain awareness of project risks, constraints, and emerging issues while developing practical solutions to keep work moving forward.Ensure established safety and quality expectations are communicated throughout the project team and consistently maintained in the field.Utilize applicable construction technology and project management platforms to monitor performance, documentation, reporting, and project controls.Maintain accurate project records and communicate project status, risks, changes, and key milestones to customers and leadership.Promote consistent operational practices while identifying opportunities to improve project execution and overall customer value.Provide leadership, direction, and support to project team members while encouraging accountability and professional development.Represent the company professionally during customer meetings, project reviews, and other high-level project discussions.Perform additional responsibilities as required to support project and business objectives.EducationBachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.CertificationsBICSI RCDD preferred.BICSI RTPM preferred.PMP certification preferred.Additional BICSI credentials, including Installer or Technician certifications, are a plus.Experience7-10+ years of project management experience within structured cabling, telecommunications, integrated systems, or related construction environments.Demonstrated experience leading complex projects with significant customer, field, and operational requirements.Strong understanding of multiple project delivery and contracting methods, including lump sum, cost-plus/GMP, unit price, design-build, design-assist, and time-and-material agreements.Experience identifying scope changes, evaluating project impacts, and implementing effective change management practices.Knowledge of construction technology platforms and project management systems.Strong understanding of construction quality, safety, and compliance standards.Proven ability to coordinate multiple resources and maintain project performance across schedule, budget, scope, safety, and quality.Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to build productive relationships with customers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal leadership.Anistar Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is dedicated to fostering diversity in the workplace.
