Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) – Distribution

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Specialist – Distribution provides direct sales and operational support to Stertil-Koni's Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and distribution partners. In this role, the ISS will primarily be responsible for opportunity funnel management and delivering sales quotations using Monday.com CRM. The ISS will also be the primary liaison between the RSMs and the operations team. This role is based in Stevensville, MD, and reports directly to the Stertil-Koni sales leader, currently the President.

Key Responsibilities

• In the first three months, the ISS will gain a strong understanding of how Stertil-Koni sells products through our exclusive distribution network, direct National Account sales, and direct State and Federal contracted sales.
• After technical training on our CRM platform and ERP, the ISS will be responsible for sales opportunity funnel management, preparing individual sales quotations with lead times, tracking and reporting sales data, and ensuring timely responses on all topics to our RSMs and Distributors.
• The ISS will work collaboratively with the National Account Manager, Regional Sales Managers, Distribution Partners, Operations Team, and Finance team on a daily basis.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree; Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Experience working with a CRM or equivalent system for opportunity management and quoting preferred.
• At least 2 years of sales experience or multiple references acknowledging your potential to succeed in sales.

Additional Requirements

• A U.S. Citizen with valid U.S. Drivers License and ability to travel domestically and/or internationally when needed (to include the ability to obtain a U.S. Passport).
• The role requires approximately 10% travel (domestic and international) to official Stertil-Koni meetings, trade shows, and some distributor events.

• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position safely and effectively.
• Ability to work in office or customer site environments as applicable.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach, climb, bend, or lift as required by the role.
