USCAN Commercial Controller

GE HealthCare seeks a Commercial Controller to support the USCAN region by providing controllership guidance on complex customer arrangements, revenue recognition, and commercial processes. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards while enabling sound deal structuring across segments and business lines.
Responsibilities
- Lead controllership review of significant and non-standard customer arrangements from opportunity through execution
- Provide guidance on deal structure, revenue recognition, pricing, and accounting implications of commercial terms
- Serve as subject-matter expert on commercial accounting and technical revenue recognition policies for USCAN
- Design and maintain commercial controllership operating mechanisms covering deal review, approvals, and post-deal monitoring
- Partner with Sales, Legal, and Operations to surface accounting considerations early in the commercial cycle
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)
- Experience with commercial deal structuring and technical accounting analysis
- Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex accounting matters to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience in process governance, risk assessment, and operational controls
- Proficiency with financial systems and order-to-cash processes
