Electrical Superintendent PositionsStrong electrical projects are built in the field. We are seeking experienced Electrical Superintendents for current and upcoming construction opportunities across Atlanta and the wider Southeast. These positions may support data centers, advanced manufacturing facilities, industrial projects, commercial developments, or large-scale energy infrastructure.This is aimed at field leaders who know how to organize crews, maintain standards, solve problems quickly, and keep complex electrical work moving safely and efficiently.What you may be responsible for:Leading day-to-day electrical construction activities on site.Supervising electricians, foremen, subcontractors, and specialist vendors.Planning labor, materials, equipment, and work sequencing.Coordinating electrical installation with mechanical, civil, structural, and controls teams.Reviewing drawings, specifications, schedules, and installation requirements.Monitoring productivity, workmanship, and project progress.Identifying field conflicts and working with project teams to resolve them.Managing installation activities involving power distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, grounding, lighting, and controls.Supporting inspections, testing, commissioning, and turnover.Conducting daily briefings, safety meetings, and quality checks.Enforcing site safety procedures and electrical standards.Maintaining clear records of progress, changes, labor, and field issues.Communicating with project managers, general contractors, engineers, and clients.What employers will typically look for:Significant experience in electrical construction.Previous responsibility as an Electrical Superintendent, General Foreman, or senior field leader.A strong understanding of commercial, industrial, or mission-critical electrical systems.Experience leading crews and coordinating subcontractors.The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical specifications.Knowledge of project schedules, manpower planning, and installation sequencing.A practical understanding of quality control and commissioning requirements.Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.A consistent commitment to safety.Experience in any of the following may be particularly relevant:Data center construction.Mission-critical facilities.Advanced manufacturing.Healthcare or large commercial projects.Industrial power distribution.Renewable energy or battery storage.Medium-voltage systems.Fast-track or multi-phase construction programs.QualificationsA formal electrical apprenticeship, trade qualification, electrical license, or equivalent field experience may be required depending on the employer and project.Additional safety, supervisory, or project-management training may be beneficial.Location and travelOpportunities will be centered around Atlanta, with some projects requiring travel across Georgia or the wider Southeast.Candidates based in Atlanta, Marietta, Alpharetta, Decatur, Lawrenceville, or surrounding areas may be well suited.Project schedules, travel requirements, per diem, vehicle allowances, bonuses, and benefits will vary between employers.Full details will be discussed before your information is shared for any opportunity.Applications are welcomed from experienced electrical construction leaders who are actively considering a move, as well as those open to a confidential discussion about upcoming projects in the Southeast.
