Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Experience in a large (300 bed or more) critical care facility. Experience in critical care.
Preferred Credentials: RRT preferred over CRT.
Special Requests: Must not have worked at any OSF facility in the past year.
Unit Details: Uses the AARC point system, with assignments around 26-28 points per day. Cares for general med, intermediate, and ICU patients. Equipment includes Servo U, Servo i, LTV, Trilogy, ResMed S9, and Fisher Paykel heated high flow. Team lead is on each shift, does not take an assignment, and serves as a resource. Hospitalist and intensivist coverage available 24/7.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend; weekends are Saturday and Sunday for both days and nights. Every other holiday. No call.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
