SPD Technician FT Days

Job Summary: Under supervision, cleans, sterilizes and assembles patient care equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques. Assembles surgical instruments, trays, etc. Sterilizes instruments, equipment, linens and a variety of supplies such as surgical packs, treatment trays and the like using steam or gas sterilizer. Prepares packs of supplies and wraps, labels and seals same.

Job Essentials: SPD experience preferred. Education Requirements: HS Dip or GED required, graduate of an SPD program preferred.
License/Certification/Registry: CSPD
Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources. Minimum rate: $21.00
