You may be just who we are looking for!We are seeking a Process Engineer I - Laser reporting to Senior Manager, Engineering to join our dynamic team of industry leading experts at our Warwick, RI facility.As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:Responsible for process development – from proof-of-concept prototypesto sustained manufacturing validation - planning, and coordinatingengineering activities, studies and programs in support of standardproduction and new product development related to laser cutting.Hands on process development –ability to run lasers, cut parts andtroubleshoot systems.Experience translating customer drawings into laser cutting programsusing Solidworks and AutoCAD in accordance with GD&T principles.Ability to review and analyze data using statistical tools such as DOE’s,CPK/PPK, and ANOVA variation analysis.Create, communicate, and maintain documentation per quality controlpolicies.Production support.Expert in organizational skills about data gathering, organizing and basicanalysis.Possess good English communication skills – both written and oral.Follow health, safety and environmental programs for preventativemaintenance – adhering to safety protocols and ensuring that all hazardsare properly managed.Requirements:Bachelor of engineering degree in the area of mechanical engineering orcomparable curriculum is required.Have solid background in CAD Software such as AutoCad, Solidworksetc.Have 3D printing experienceHave laser experience.Possess 1-3 years of experience in Micromachining or Optical Metrology.Have machine maintenance expertise.Experience in the medical device industry.Possess good English communication skills – both written and oral.Confluent Medical Technologies is dedicated to working collaboratively with our customers, taking their projects from rapid prototype into high volume production.
