AI-native startup building agents that resolve customer tickets without human handoff You’ll spend mornings in Figma prototyping how a support agent decides when to escape, then afternoons shipping those interfaces directly in React and Next.js. This is the founding design seat: you’re establishing the visual grammar for a product where AI is the primary user and humans supervise. Expect to build systems, not screens—designing for uncertainty, confidence thresholds, and conversation repair. What we’re looking for: 5–10 years designing complex software, with a portfolio showing interaction systems for technical or enterprise users Fluency in Figma prototypes that engineers can actually build from, plus hands‑on HTML/CSS/React skills Experience designing AI products or interfaces with probabilistic outputs, not just deterministic workflows Confidence establishing brand voice and visual identity from near‑zero, then documenting it for scale Able to be in San Francisco or New York offices with the early team Must be based in the United States.
