Agentic Data Product Manager

Lead the development and roadmap of an internal agentic data analytics product focused on Disney character data, collaborating with multiple business units across parks, cruise lines, studios, streaming, and more.

Engage stakeholders to define use cases, prioritize data sources, and drive adoption, with responsibilities including stakeholder interviews, requirements gathering, and strategic planning. Coordinate with technical leads and global information security to ensure governance, data onboarding, and compliance. Must have exposure to analytics, agentic products, and ideally entertainment or similar industries; internal/external product experience both considered. Hybrid role based in Burbank (preferred) or Orlando (secondary), requiring 2 days/week onsite, with potential for FTE conversion. Strong collaborative, listening, and decision-making skills required; ability to navigate competing stakeholder priorities and drive project success. Technical familiarity with SQL and Python is a plus, but hands-on coding is not required.

What You Will Do:

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for a new AI and decision science product.
• Define product strategy and multi-release roadmaps; translate user and market insights into prioritized backlogs and clear outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, data engineering, UX) to scope solutions, run experiments/prototypes, and deliver high-quality releases on time.
• Convert complex analytical and technical concepts (AI agents, knowledge retrieval, forecasting) into intuitive user experiences and actionable business capabilities.
• Integrate user research, usability studies, market analysis, and evolving AI agent capabilities into requirements; champion user-centric design and measurable success criteria (OKRs/KPIs).
• Guide solution testing and evaluations (AI agent evaluations, software tests, and A/B testing) to ensure accuracy, reliability, and business impact.
• Partner with client stakeholders as a strategic advisor; communicate roadmaps, trade-offs, and results through compelling narratives and visuals.
• Work with data stakeholders across the enterprise to understand, translate, and develop new access paths to different domains of data.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• At least seven (7) years of experience including product management for technology-based data/analytics or software products, and/or client data science and advanced analytics solution development.
• At least two (2) years of experience leading cross-functional, agile teams in a matrixed environment.
• A dedicated, effective leader who effectively collaborates with and helps team members and business partners succeed.
• Proven ability to translate technical requirements and analytical methods into customer-facing features and business outcomes.
• Experience partnering closely with engineering, data science/decision science, data engineering, and UX/design functions.
• Ability to synthesize user research, usability testing, market analysis, and evolving technological capabilities to drive prioritization and product strategy.
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analytics into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Familiarity with statistical/ML concepts, forecasting and/or optimization, and data visualization; ability to query and analyze data (e.g., SQL, Python).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in media, video games, parks & experiences, or other entertainment related consumer domains.
• Success launching enterprise-scale AI, analytics, or data products and integrating them into business processes.
• Hands-on familiarity with developing AI agent tools.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and experimentation platforms.
• Consulting experience and/or product operations partnership to scale adoption and sustainment.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Psychology, Business, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related quantitative/technical field.
• Master's degree

Product Manager - Role Overview:

• Product Manager focused on defining and owning the roadmap for a new Agentic AI Analytics product
• Heavy emphasis on product strategy, roadmap development, and product direction
• Less focused on hands-on development; more focused on product vision and execution (Business Side)

Key Experience Required:

• Strong background in analytics/data products
• Experience working with data, analytics, and AI agents
• Proven experience in product roadmap definition and prioritization
• Familiarity with entertainment, media, theme parks, or hospitality is a plus
• Collaborative, strong listener, and great communication

Technical Exposure (Nice to Have):

• Exposure to SQL querying to help understand data
• Exposure to Python scripting
• Strong understanding of analytics and AI concepts (depth of understanding more important than hands-on coding)
