About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its philanthropic and financial services organization. The CEO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in partnership with the Board, staff, and key stakeholders, and will serve as the principal ambassador, fundraiser, and relationship steward. This role requires a visionary, mission-driven, and relationship-centered leader with a strong background in executive leadership, fiduciary judgment, fundraising, and donor stewardship. The successful candidate will be expected to honor the organization's legacy, guide it through a changing philanthropic landscape, and ensure operational integrity while maintaining alignment with the mission and values of the organization. Candidates for the CEO position at the company should have a proven track record in relationship-building, external engagement, and communication with diverse stakeholder groups. Essential qualifications include 7-10 years of executive or senior leadership experience in a relevant field, a Bachelor's degree in a related area, and a working knowledge of investment management principles. The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising, donor stewardship, and planned giving, as well as a leadership style grounded in integrity, humility, and collaboration. Preferred qualifications include experience with a similar philanthropic or financial services organization, familiarity with the United Methodist structure, and professional credentials in a related field.
