Overview The Housekeeping Room Inspector conducts inspections, and maximizes the efforts of the entire department in order to ensure compliance with all standards of guest satisfaction, cleanliness, sanitation and productivity and efficiency set by the Resort. The Room Inspector’s p osition is to ultimately ensure that guests of the Lodge and Inn at Suncadia enter a lodging unit that is clean, sanitary and welcoming. Each Inspector will play a vital housekeeping role in ensuring all guests experience the natural beauty comfort and custom hand finished details that our guest rooms offer. They will work with business/department leadership and team members to ensure the effectiveness and overall success of the department. Make small corrections as needed in lodging units to bring them to required standards; Update the housekeeping coordinator when units are clean , up to standard s and ready for guest occupancy . Document and notify housekeeping coordinator of any engineering concerns in the units and enter into Hotsos if applicable; Document and notify housekeeping lea d ership of any severe cleaning deficiencies in the units ; Assist with associate training, including follow-up training as needed with regard to any recorded deficiencies; General cleaning tasks ( making beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, scrubbing floors, spotting carpets, cleaning fireplaces, vacuuming all living areas, sweeping, mopping, dusting, spot cleaning windows and checking outside trash areas ) may be assigned during peak occupancy days at the resort ; General cleaning tasks may be assigned in areas including: C ondos, Health and Fitness Centers, Recreational facilities , Public Spaces, Spa and freestanding homes throughout Suncadia Resort ; Understand and abide by all S uncadia policies, pro cedures, and safety regulations. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays . High school diploma or equivalent P rior experience in housekeeping experience in rooms preferred Must be able to work well under pressure ; Must be able to accurately follow instructions ( verbally and written ); Must possess guest facing communication skills ; High attention-to-detail #SuncadiaResort #J-18808-Ljbffr
