Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Charter Operations Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of charter operations. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, strict adherence to company policies, and maximizing profitability. The candidate needs to work well in a team environment, supporting colleagues in various global locations. A good understanding of airfreight rules and regulations is a must and understanding the chartering of aircraft is certainly welcome. The successful candidate will lead operational activities in the region as well as globally, ensuring efficient execution and continuous improvement across all charter services.Principal accountabilities:Manage day-to-day charter operations, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of all flights and servicesDelivering outstanding client experiences by maintaining high service standards and responding proactively to client needsNegotiate with Airlines/Suppliers on contractual/business arrangements according to corporate policy and local regulatory requirementsWork closely with Heads of other departments/business units to generate business leadsEnsure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and operational proceduresCooperate with a team of charter operations professionals, providing assistance and supportOptimize operational efficiency to maximize profitability while maintaining service qualityCoordinate with internal stakeholders (sales, network planning, finance) and external partners (airlines, brokers, service providers)Monitor operational performance metrics and implement improvements where neededIdentify opportunities for process optimization, cost savings, and revenue growthManage risk and resolve operational issues quickly and effectivelyPrepare operational reports and provide insights to senior leadershipQualifications and ExperienceDegree in Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)Proven experience in charter operations, aviation logistics, or a similar roleStrong leadership and team management experienceIn-depth understanding of aviation regulations and best operational practicesExcellent customer service and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBilingual in Spanish and EnglishProficiency in operational systems and Microsoft Office toolsKey SkillsLeadership & Team DevelopmentCustomer Focus & Relationship ManagementOperational ExcellenceExcellent Product KnowledgeFinancial & Commercial AcumenDecision-Making & Problem-SolvingGood communication and interpersonal skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based incentivesOpportunities for career growth and professional developmentDynamic and collaborative work environmentExposure to global charter operationsJob SummaryJob number: AV-362109
