About the Role:

The Program Manager in the retail trade sector of New London, Connecticut, will lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple programs that align with the organization's strategic goals. This role requires managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that all program objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program or project management within the retail or related industry.
• Proven experience in administrative procedure development and implementation.
• Demonstrated skills in volunteer management and event coordination.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Experience with contract administration and budget management in a retail environment.
• Familiarity with proposal development and grant writing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor program plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of program objectives.
• Coordinate and manage volunteer activities, ensuring effective recruitment, training, and engagement to support program goals.
• Oversee event coordination efforts, including planning, logistics, and execution of program-related events and activities.
• Administer contracts and agreements with vendors, partners, and service providers, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Lead proposal development efforts by collaborating with internal teams to create compelling program proposals and reports.
• Provide administrative leadership by establishing and maintaining efficient procedures and documentation standards.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders through written and oral channels to report progress, address issues, and align expectations.
• Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports to ensure fiscal responsibility.
