Medical Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a capable, service-oriented individual with strong character to work the front desk at our busy, well- established Family Medicine Practice in Largo, Florida, with over 30 years practicing in the same location. This individual will perform reception-related functions as well as those pertaining to assisting in the flow of a successful family practice.
Check-in
- Greet all patients in a courteous manner.
- Ensure patients complete required documentation and their information (insurance, demographic, etc) is current.
- Enter appropriate data into scheduling software.
- Collect any patient copayments and balances.
Scheduling
- Schedule office appointments.
- Respond to requests for medical records or other forms to be completed by providers.
Additional
- Patient registration if scheduling new patient.
- Triage incoming phone calls in an effective manner.
Minimum Requirements:
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma
Work Experience:
- 1 year of medical Front Office/ Reception experience preferred
*Pay rate will depend on experience, to be discussed in interview*
