Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab
The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. This role encompasses the management of patient care in the surgical environment and requires ongoing communication with the physician regarding patient conditions.
Deliver comprehensive patient care and support during cardiovascular procedures.
Monitor and record patients' physiological and hemodynamic data continuously.
Assess the functionality and readiness of procedure rooms and equipment.
Prepare and manage inventory and supplies necessary for each case.
Engage in quality improvement and performance enhancement activities within the department.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Active state Registered Nursing (RN) license is required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required upon hire and must be maintained.
Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or a Critical Care area is required.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DCI/BVP.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Proficient in monitoring patient conditions in a dynamic clinical environment.
