Environmental Project Manager - Lake Ariel, PA Job Description The Project Manager (or Senior Project Manager) offers a qualified candidate the opportunity to lead and grow CTIS’s environmental remediation projects. This role is multi-faceted and includes a mix of in‑office and on‑site work. We expect this candidate to be able to bid, win, and execute projects at the highest level, drive customer success, and ensure successful delivery of critical environmental projects. You will work closely with operations, sales, finance, and estimating teams. Primary Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions Cradle to grave project management of public and private projects Managing subcontractors and project contacts Developing proposals and work scopes Tracking budgets in Microsoft Excel Coordinating project logistics and deliverables Preparing project documentation: work plans, health and safety plans, submittals, progress reports, and close‑out packages Developing contract structures for lump‑sum, T&M, and unit‑rate projects Managing support staff within CTIS Supporting CTIS’s overall business operations Maintaining customer relationships Providing team leadership Proactive problem solving Health and safety oversight Pre‑project and post‑project evaluations Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Minimum 5 years experience managing construction projects Minimum 3 years experience estimating construction projects Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations Excellent verbal, written, communication, and computer skills Extensive traveling is mandatory as needed Ability to work extended hours to meet project deadlines and respond flexibly to emergencies on‑site Ability to wear and use a variety of Levels A, B, C and D personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to work in various temperatures, indoors and outdoors, including extreme heat and cold while wearing PPE Work in atmospheres and locations with potential exposure to hazardous, toxic or corrosive chemical and physical agents A valid statewide issued driver’s license (required and a continuing condition of employment) Fluency in speaking, listening, and understanding English Pass a criminal background check to work on secure governmental installations in the United States Pass a pre‑employment drug test Pass a pre‑employment physical (Hazwoper physical including but not limited to: vision, blood pressure, spirometry, chest X‑ray, lead blood levels, audiometry, physical examination) Is A Plus BS/MA within related fields PE, PG, or similar background Experience with estimating software Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Job Type Full‑time Work Location In person (travel as needed).
