Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required. License: RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure. Certifications: BCLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: - Epic charting system experience preferred. Description: Shift consists of three 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Candidates should have experience in a cardiovascular thoracic unit. Patient care will primarily involve adults and geriatric patients. Nurse to patient ratio is 4:1. Applicants should have skills in cardiac telemetry and acute care management. Experience with managing cardiac drips and IV insulin protocols is needed. Familiarity with post-surgical care for cardiac and thoracic patients is essential. Duties include managing various medical procedures and telemetry monitoring. Interdisciplinary support teams will be involved in patient care. Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills.
