Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Overview Basin Valley Hospital is an accredited 148-bed acute care hospital located in Southern California. Desert Valley Hospital, together with Desert Valley Medical Group, provides core services such as heart care, emergency services, labor and delivery, and surgical services. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, directs and guides patient/family teaching, and supervises activities of other nursing personnel. The RN maintains standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit, communicates with physicians regarding changes in the patient’s clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring and diagnostic studies, and responds promptly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response. Qualifications Current and valid state RN license. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter. Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintained thereafter. Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire. Previous acute‑care hospital experience preferred. Ventilator management experience preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. The estimated salary range for this role is $44.00 to $62.49 per hour, with final compensation determined by factors such as skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
