Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a full or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The hospital provides comprehensive care for companion animals, offering preventative medicine, internal medicine, emergency care, dentistry, surgery, boarding, and in-house diagnostic services. This is a full or part-time opportunity with a collaborative team and a flexible schedule designed to support work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will perform comprehensive patient examinations, medical work-ups, diagnostic procedures, and surgical and dental procedures while delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include communicating with clients, maintaining accurate medical records, prescribing medications, monitoring hospitalized patients, participating in daily rounds, collaborating with the Hospital Manager on hospital priorities, supporting efficient workflow, and contributing to practice management initiatives. The role is intended for experienced veterinarians, requiring a minimum of one year of veterinary practice experience.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is closed on weekends. The practice is equipped with digital radiography and an in-house laboratory capable of performing chemistry panels, CBCs, urinalysis, ear cytology, and blood morphology testing, alongside an in-house pharmacy. Services include routine examinations, vaccinations and preventative care, internal medicine, emergency care, dentistry, senior pet care, puppy and kitten care, boarding, soft tissue surgery, C-sections, ocular surgery, dental surgery, cosmetic surgery, pyometra surgery, and spay and neuter procedures. The hospital offers a flexible schedule of two to three shifts per week with no weekend hours and emphasizes compassionate, high-quality medicine in a collaborative environment.

Team
The hospital is staffed by two DVMs supported by experienced technicians and a dedicated support team. Veterinarians work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Director in a collaborative environment focused on teamwork, efficiency, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so

Salary up to $120,000 (Annual)

• Base Salary of $65k -120k
