BAC Construction is a rapidly growing commercial construction and facility maintenance company serving Long Island. We are seeking an experienced Lead Construction Mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer service.

Responsibilities
As a Lead Construction Mechanic, you will perform and oversee repairs, maintenance, and renovation projects at commercial properties including:
- Retail shopping centers
- Restaurants
- Office buildings
- Medical facilities
- Fitness centers
- Commercial properties
Daily responsibilities include:
- Performing general commercial construction repairs
- Carpentry and finish work
- Drywall installation and repairs
- Painting and patchwork
- Ceiling grid and ceiling tile repairs
- Door, lock, and hardware installation/repair
- Flooring repairs and installation
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Minor electrical repairs
- Concrete and masonry repairs
- Exterior building maintenance
- Troubleshooting maintenance issues
- Communicating professionally with customers and management
- Leading projects while maintaining BAC's quality standards
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 5+ years of commercial construction experience
- Is knowledgeable in multiple construction trades
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Has strong problem-solving skills
- Maintains a professional appearance and attitude
- Provides excellent customer service
- Is dependable and punctual
- Can lift 75+ pounds
- Can safely use ladders and lifts
- Has experience using power and hand tools
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable Transportation
- Own Professional Tools
- Ability to travel throughout Long Island and NYC
- Authorized to work in the United States
