The Project Manager leads and oversees diverse projects including operations, construction, and HVAC/mechanical initiatives. Managing small teams of 1-5 members, this role spans short-term to long-term project durations and involves coordinating mixed internal and external stakeholders. The manager ensures projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards while occasionally traveling to project sites and collaborating closely with vendors and federal government entities.

Responsibilities

• Plan projects with clear timelines and resource allocation
• Manage budgets and monitor financial performance
• Identify and mitigate project risks effectively
• Communicate consistently with internal and external stakeholders
• Track project progress and conduct regular status meetings
• Lead and support small project teams (1-5 members)
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for smooth execution
• Document project plans, changes, and outcomes thoroughly
• Prepare reports and updates for leadership and stakeholders
• Resolve issues promptly to maintain project momentum
• Oversee federal government and construction project compliance

Required Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Strong skills in project management, risk management, and budgeting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft suite of tools
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Effective problem-solving and time management skills
• 5+ Years of Project management experience on large-scale long-term projects
• Experience with Federal Government projects
• Knowledge of Federal Government Contracting
• Clean driving record
• Ability to access military installations

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management
• Degree in Business Administration/Project Management
• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
• Experience with Costpoint
• Experience with BuildOps
• OSHA 10/30
