Financial Analyst

Dematic has an immediate need for a Financial Analyst to make valuable contributions at our Grand Rapids, MI headquarters. This position will report to the Senior Manager of FP&A and provides diversified experience within the Finance organization to provide a well-rounded background in accounting and finance to leverage for future growth positions. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $66,400-$99,600 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: This is What You Will do in This Role: Assists in monthly financial close including reporting financial results to parent company with accurate and timely delivery Coordinates quarterly and half-year reporting packages for the parent organization Serves as key point of contact as reporting questions arise or as new guidance is issued Participates in monthly forecasts and annual budget process including capital, shared service allocations, SG&A, and miscellaneous cost centers Contributes to the finance function through the identification and implementation of operational improvements; streamlined reporting, automation opportunities etc. Provides proactive analysis and insights above and beyond regular responsibilities Works on special project and improvement teams as needed What We are Looking For: Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Accounting prefered; Bachelor of Science in Finance or Economics 2-4 years of relevant working experience including either in a large corporate environment or public accounting experience. Strong communication skills, with high level of professionalism and a detail orientated approach. Candidate should be a motivated self-starter, able to demonstrate good judgment and resourcefulness in decision-making and problem solving. Expertise with Excel and proficient with Word and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP, Oracle or BI is an advantage. The ideal candidate will seek to use this role as a springboard into project controlling, operations controlling, or other finance roles within approximately 2 years. #LI-RT1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
