Pay Range: $30.00 - $34.00/hour

\n \nCompany Overview:
\nOur client is an oil and gas exploration and production company with headquarters in Centennial, Colorado, and O/G operations based in New Mexico. Half of the company's 70 employees work in the corporate office, with the other half in New Mexico. Beautiful new office space in Centennial includes an on-site deli and a great walking trail for lunch breaks!
\n \nAll corporate employees work every day in the Centennial office (there is no option for remote or hybrid work).
\n \nPosition Overview - Accounts Payable Specialist II:
\nReporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounts Payable Specialist II performs financial, administrative, and clerical support for the organization. The primary focus of the role is to ensure accurate and timely completion of payments and control of expenses. This includes processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
\n \nJob Responsibilities – Accounts Payable Specialist II:
\n- \n
- Review, code, and process ~150 invoices daily utilizing DocVue, SmartVue, and Excalibur workflows \n
- Assign/determine proper workflow for each invoice \n
- Verify accuracy of billing, matching invoices against Pos, field tickets, and Authorizations of Expenditures (AFEs) \n
- Resolve vendor billing issues \n
- Work across internal company departments to investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies \n
- Review statements from vendors \n
Qualifications – Accounts Payable Specialist II:
\n- \n
- Bachelor's degree preferred \n
- 3+ years of A/P and accounting experience, ideally with some experience in the oil & gas industry \n
- Strong skills in MS Office \n
- DocVue, SmartVue, and Excalibur oil & gas software experience preferred \n
- Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to resolve issues \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills \n
- Problem solver \n

- High degree of personal integrity, professionalism, and work ethic \n
