Job Full Description Temporary Bookkeeper
Location: Libertyville, IL | 100% Onsite
Pay: $25-$30/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week | Approximately 8:30am-4:30pm or 9:00am-5:00pm
Duration: Approximately 30 days
Start Date: ASAP A company in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Bookkeeper to assist with a short-term accounting project. This individual will help bring financial records current and provide hands-on bookkeeping and accounting support. This is a great opportunity for someone who is comfortable jumping into an existing accounting environment, working independently, and helping get financial records organized and up to date.

Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Update and catch up outstanding financial records
- Enter and review financial information in QuickBooks
- Assist with general bookkeeping and accounting tasks
- Identify and help resolve discrepancies within financial records
- Support the team in bringing accounts and records fully current
- Complete additional accounting-related tasks as needed throughout the project
- Previous bookkeeping, accounting, or junior staff accountant experience
- QuickBooks experience required
- Strong experience with or understanding of bank reconciliations
- Comfortable working with financial records and identifying discrepancies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal training
- Available to start quickly and commit to the approximately 30-day project
