\n \nWhat you will be doing as the Payroll Specialist:
\n- \n
- Own and deliver payroll for domestic and Canadian payroll groups \n
- Review and processing of payroll adjustment forms for US and Canadian payrolls \n
- Review and acceptance of employee self-service changes for US and Canadian payrolls \n
- Review and acceptance of comp/position changes for US and Canadian payrolls \n
- Review US and Canadian timecards for errors and communicate with management to resolve \n
- Process benefit corrections and updates for US and Canadian payrolls \n
- Process garnishments \n
- Answer data requests \n
- Add payee to Dayforce \n
- Apply garnishment to Employee Dayforce file \n
- Answer debtor information requests \n
- Setup pay cards \n
- Process Final pay for US and Canadian payrolls (based on state regs.) \n
- Collect final deductions \n
- Payout remaining accruals \n
- Wire/same day pay for California. \n
- Run and process concur expense data for US and Canadian payrolls \n
- Process deposit rejections and updates for US and Canadian payrolls \n
What you will need as the Payroll Specialist:
\n- \n
- Pref Highschool and 2-4 years of experience in related field. \n
- Req GED and 2-4 years of experience in related field \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills \n
- Strong skills in teamwork & collaboration \n
- Strong interpersonal skills \n
- Strong external customer service skills \n
- Strong analytical thinking skills \n
- Self management skills \n
- Ability to accept & act on constructive criticism \n
- Ability to work under pressure \n
- Ability to manage deadlines \n
- Ability to prioritize in a fast moving environment \n
- Ability to work independently \n
- Computer skills strong skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint \n
- Strong math skills – able to understand and accurately present numbers. \n
- Strong personal integrity due to exposure to a wide array of personal information. \n
