\n \nFormal Job Description:
\nOur client is currently seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This position is based on-site at their corporate office in Nashville. The successful candidate for this role will have a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and dependability. This candidate should be able to thrive in a deadline driven environment. This position will impact a rapidly growing organization.
\n \nThis is an hourly position and will report to the Payroll Manger.
\n \nJob Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Process in house, weekly payroll for 3600+ multi-state employees. \n
- HRIS Employee Data Entry (new hire, rate changes, etc.) \n
- Entry of payroll information (Federal W4, State Withholding, Direct Deposit, etc.) \n
- Perform various payroll functions such as completing written Employment Verification forms, Child Support Enforcement forms, workers Comp wage forms, etc. \n
- Complete State Unemployment Benefit Audit forms. \n
- Cover for team members in back-up role for vacation and/or high-volume work times. \n
- Learn to research and resolve questions from managers and employees as they relate to the processing of payroll such as PTO, garnishments, banking, tax questions and other changes. \n
- Learn new or enhanced operation procedures and policies. \n
- Be willing to learn and/or take on any new responsibilities as assigned by manager. \n
- Perform other business duties as assigned. \n
