CB Partners is partnering with a prestigious Am Law firm to identify an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its growing litigation team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex litigation matters from inception through trial and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Litigation & Case Management

• Support attorneys through all stages of litigation, from case intake through trial and appeal.
• Prepare case chronologies, witness summaries, fact investigations, and case evaluations.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, responses, subpoenas, and other litigation-related documents.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files.

Discovery & Depositions

• Coordinate written and document discovery processes.
• Manage document collection, review, and production.
• Schedule and coordinate depositions, court reporters, and expert witnesses.
• Prepare deposition exhibits and summarize deposition transcripts.
• Assist attorneys with witness preparation and case strategy.

Investigation & Research

• Conduct factual investigations and public records research.
• Review and summarize employment, personnel, medical, and business records.
• Perform legal research and citation verification using online research tools.

Trial Preparation & Support

• Assist with trial strategy and logistics.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, witness binders, and demonstrative evidence.
• Draft witness and exhibit lists, jury instructions, and motions in limine.
• Attend trials and provide real-time litigation support to attorneys.

Post-Trial & Appellate Support

• Assist with post-trial motions and appellate filings.
• Prepare excerpts of record and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate final file management and case closure procedures.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 3–10 years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm or corporate legal environment.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and case management.
• Experience supporting complex, document-intensive litigation matters.
• Familiarity with Oregon State and Federal Court rules and procedures.
• Proficiency with:
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Relativity
• LiveNote
• Electronic filing systems
• Legal research platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Trial preparation and courtroom experience.
• Experience supporting class actions or large-scale litigation matters.
• Familiarity with Trial Director or similar trial presentation software.
• Experience mentoring or coordinating junior paralegals and support staff.
• Paralegal Certificate.

Compensation & Benefits

• $50.48 - $55.28 per hour depending on experience
