School Improvement Facilitator - Area 2, Leadership Services

Position Title: Facilitator, School Improvement Division: Leadership Service Reports To: Senior Director, School Support FLSA Status: Exempt Salary Schedule: Teacher Salary Schedule Work Days: 244 Essential Duties Work directly with the Assistant Superintendents for Leadership Services to conduct needs assessments and analyze data to determine school improvement needs to help increase student achievement. Work with principals and school leadership teams on the development, implementation, and monitoring of Comprehensive School Improvement Plans. Ensure effective response and outreach to all stakeholders, to include parent communication. Work collaboratively with all departments to help plan and facilitate professional development opportunities focused on school-specific needs. Serve as a liaison between various district departments and the schools. Maintain clear and timely communication relative to all areas of assigned responsibility. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor\'s degree, required; Georgia Educator Certification, required. Minimum of three years of successful experience in education; experience at both elementary and secondary levels, preferred. Ability to work well with teachers, school administrative teams, and district office leadership. Experience in Exceptional Student Education, preferred. Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation. Ability to abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators. Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work. Ability to be present at the physical worksite. Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting. Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
