Ops Training Specialist

Job Description Andersen is a leading provider of windows and doors, dedicated to customer satisfaction and employee growth. Position Responsibilities Deliver and sustain training initiatives and programs that drive retention, employee engagement and business performance, utilizing hands‑on training, classroom, on‑the‑job, e‑learning and virtual formats. Develop documentation and materials to support learning and coach other trainers. Support talent pipeline and leadership development programs with a commitment to inclusion. Coordinate and track training plans for associates covering safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement. Train and develop training team leads and line trainers. Provide onboarding support to new leaders and support functions. Develop and report on measurements related to onboarding, retention and development. Collaborate with leaders in the creation and reporting of metrics that demonstrate business impact. Partner with leaders and support functions to deliver solutions for business problems and strategic impacts, participating in the tiered management system as a business partner and using preferred problem‑solving tools and methodologies. Coach and train others across the operation involved in hands‑on training, orientation and onboarding. Qualifications and Skill Requirements Knowledge and experience with lean, safety and quality manufacturing concepts, processes and workforce training methods. Associate’s degree (or equivalent education and/or experience) in manufacturing, training, lean, continuous improvement, industrial safety, HR, or instructional design. Minimum of 3 years manufacturing, logistics or industrial experience, including 2 years with training or coaching responsibilities. Commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Understanding of adult learning, on‑the‑job training and instructional design techniques. A customer‑centric approach to work. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and project‑management skills.
