Job Title: Millwright Foreman

Job Description

Join a dynamic team responsible for the relocation and setup of industrial machinery and equipment. We are looking for skilled individuals capable of performing precise work in the leveling, aligning, and installation of machinery on foundations or base plates. As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in setting, leveling, and aligning electric motors or other power sources such as turbines with the equipment. Your ability to read and interpret blueprints and your mechanical aptitude will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Level, align, and install machinery on foundations or base plates.
• Set, level, and align electric motors or other power sources such as turbines with equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical inclination and precise work standards.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in rigging, mechanical work, iron work, and machine installation.
• Experience in equipment moving, alignment, construction, welding, and optical alignment.
• Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy and compare differences in size, shape, and form.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Structural welding experience is a plus.
• Advanced rigging skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions, plans, and blueprints.

Work Environment

Candidates will be responsible for working at various jobsites, primarily inside existing or newly constructed manufacturing facilities. Some environments may be climate-controlled while others may not. Flexibility and adaptability to different work conditions are essential

This is a Contract position based out of Anderson, SC.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
