Duty Location: Boulder City, Nevada Major Duties This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Buildings and Grounds Group, BOULDER CITY, NEVADA At the full performance level (GS-13) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Oversees the day-to-day work of the Buildings and Grounds Group. Participates in working meetings to justify expenditures. Monitors the execution of the funding allocated throughout the group. Establishes and recommends the priority and commitment of resources projected and available for projects. Coordinates work operations among the group and with the Regional Management Team and supervisors from other offices. Reviews and analyzes records and reports of work production, costs, equipment, and staff resource utilization to evaluate progress and to control or reduce costs. Exercises significant responsibilities in dealing with officials of other offices, contractor personnel, and in advising management officials. Applies administrative and managerial skills and abilities and broad technical knowledge of the operating capabilities and maintenance requirements of the LCBRO campus, facilities, grounds, and equipment. Ensures that safety, security, environmental, fire, and maintenance policies, procedures, and guidelines are adhered to and enforced. Performs the full range of supervisory duties. Plans work to be accomplished, sets priorities, and establishes schedules for work completion. Assigns work based on priorities, selective considerations of difficulty, and requirements of assignments. Develops performance standards and evaluates work completed by subordinates, accepting, amending, or rejecting work as appropriate. Education This position does not allow substituting education for experience.
