About This Role The Med/Surg Registered Nurse provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process to deliver direct and indirect patient care. Highlights Location: Newton, MA Facility: Newton-Wellesley Hospital Schedule: Per Diem Pay: $45.52 - $110.00/Hourly What You’ll Do Render professional nursing care to assigned patients. Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. Oversee other assigned team members. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care. Support the care of unstable and critically ill patients throughout the hospital. Perform a variety of patient care and technical duties in the outpatient Device Clinic. Engage in patient education regarding device function and follow-up routines. Ensure timely and proper documentation and billing. Assist with rapid responses and Code Blue on inpatient units. Evaluate patient responses to established goals and interventions. Requirements Education: Nursing diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: 1 year Med/Surg experience required. Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in Massachusetts required. BLS and ACLS certifications required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
