Custodian/Production Floater (Direct Hire)
Pay: $24 - $26 per hour

SUMMARY:
The Custodian performs custodial duties, provides production support, and assists in sanitation control within a one-level, 45,500 square foot facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform cleaning and janitorial duties, including limited grounds maintenance.

• Provide various production support activities, including:

  • Regular cleaning of coolant swarf tanks
  • Maintaining organized swarf storage areas and labeling waste
  • Using a forklift for auxiliary storage and shipping
  • Changing filters on air filtration units
  • Managing Cintas consumables and coolant inventory
  • Assisting in grinding wheel storage and retrieval

• Oversee break area, workplace cleanliness and supply maintenance.

• Keep department supplies organized and report orders to the Engineering Manager.

• Report major repair needs to the Engineering Manager.

• Perform other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS/BACKGROUND:

• Physically able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach.
• Some custodial experience preferred.
• Current or previous forklift certification.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficient in responding to inquiries.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
