Crane Operator

Now hiring an experienced Crane Operator to join a busy metal scrap yard in Madison! This position is responsible for safely operating a hydraulic crane to move and sort materials throughout the yard. Candidates with equivalent heavy equipment operating experience may also be considered.

Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm Monday- Friday

Pay: $26-30/hour

Responsibilities

Safely operate a hydraulic crane to move, load, and sort materials
Handle metal and scrap materials throughout the yard
Follow all safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines
Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns
Assist with general yard duties as needed
Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers

What We're Looking For

Previous hydraulic crane operating experience required , or equivalent heavy equipment operating experience
Experience operating loaders, excavators, or similar equipment is a plus
Ability to work safely in an outdoor yard environment
Comfortable working outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
Reliable attendance and a strong work history
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong awareness of safety and surroundings
