Experienced Veterinary Technician Wanted
West Shore Animal Clinic is looking for an experienced veterinary technician or veterinary assistant to join our three-doctor small animal practice. If you love surgery, thrive in a collaborative environment, and believe work should be both rewarding and enjoyable, we'd love to meet you.

Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures. Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed. Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection. Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and dental procedures, including preparation, monitoring, recovery, and instrument care. Educate clients on medications, discharge instructions, preventive care, and treatment plans. Safely handle and restrain patients using low-stress techniques. Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation. Collaborate with teammates to maintain an efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.
Minimum of three years of veterinary experience preferred. Licensed veterinary technicians and experienced veterinary assistants are encouraged to apply. Strong surgical nursing and anesthesia monitoring skills. Proficiency with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory procedures. Excellent patient handling and restraint skills. Strong communication and client education abilities. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to teamwork. Passion for providing exceptional patient care.
