Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
• Float to additional units including NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and med/surg as needed; must be willing and able to comply with facility float expectations and will receive an appropriate assignment in each area
• Work an expected schedule of every other weekend, subject to change based on unit needs
• Make up any missed shifts within the same pay period in the event of a call-out or absence, per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license or valid Compact RN license — license must be in hand at time of submittal (if pending, provide estimated completion date)
• BLS certification required — AHA only
• PALS certification required — AHA only
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references required at time of submittal; at least one reference must hold a manager or supervisor title
• Must not have worked permanently for this facility within the last 2 years
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent Level 1 PICU experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers with approximately 3 or more years of PICU experience will be considered
• Comfort and flexibility with floating to multiple pediatric and acute care units
