Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (state-appropriate licensure required)
• Previous experience or strong interest in SEAL and/or PALS programs is a plus
• Capacity to independently manage a self-contained classroom
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to individualized education and differentiated instruction
• Passion for collaborating with students, families, and colleagues

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering instruction, support, and advocacy for students within a self-contained setting
• Creating and adapting lesson plans to meet individualized education plan (IEP) requirements
• Assessing students' progress and documenting growth to inform instruction
• Collaborating with support staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Engaging with families to provide updates and encourage partnership in students’ learning journeys
• Participating in team meetings and providing input on program improvement
