Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid special education teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary-age students, ideally in a resource or inclusive classroom setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Compassionate communication style and patient demeanor
• Proven ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet varied learner needs
• Team player mindset with excellent collaboration skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction and support to students with special needs in grades 3-5
• Develop, review, and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assess student progress and share updates with families and school teams
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators to ensure consistency and support for each student
• Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation of student development and goals
• Cultivate an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued
