This position centers around providing high-quality instruction for students with emotional disabilities and others requiring specialized learning strategies, collaborating with colleagues, and promoting a positive learning environment tailored to each individual’s strengths.

Requirements for success in this role include:

• Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License
• Current K-12 Special Education Certificate
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with emotional disabilities and/or a variety of eligibility areas
• Knowledge and practice in strategies to build prosocial and self-regulatory skills in students
• Ability to recognize and address the needs of at-risk, ethnic, limited English proficient, and exceptional populations
• Prior work with developing and implementing IEPs and related documentation in accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines
• E.E.E.I. training or willingness to participate in required staff development
• Commitment to onsite, in-person instruction exclusively

Your daily work will involve planning and executing individualized educational plans, tracking student progress, collaborating with support staff and families, adapting instructional strategies, and acting as a resource for evidence-based best practices.
