Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold a valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License and a current K-12 Special Education Certificate
• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
• Demonstrated experience working with students with emotional disabilities and additional eligibility areas
• Skilled in supporting those struggling with prosocial and self-regulatory skills
• Awareness and understanding of the diverse needs of at-risk, ethnically diverse, limited English proficient, and exceptional students
• Familiarity with federal, state, and district guidelines in developing and implementing special services activities and documentation
• Completion of Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training or willingness to participate in professional staff development
