Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License
• Current K-12 Special Education Certificate
• IVP (Identity Verified Prints) Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience addressing the needs of at-risk, limited English proficient, and exceptional student populations
• Background working with students struggling with prosocial and self-regulation skills
• Proficiency in developing and implementing special services activities/documentation according to federal, state, and district regulations
• E.E.E.I. (Essential Elements of Effective Instruction) training or willingness to participate in staff development sessions

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with emotional disabilities and other areas of eligibility
• Maintain and update special education plans and documentation in compliance with relevant guidelines
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment focusing on students’ academic, emotional, and social growth
• Collaborate effectively with faculty, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
• Implement interventions that nurture prosocial and self-regulatory skills
