Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License
• Current K-12 Special Education Certificate
• IVP fingerprint clearance card (required)
• Experience with emotional disabilities and supporting students with diverse eligibility needs
• Familiarity with at-risk, limited English proficient, and exceptional student populations
• Skilled in developing and executing special services and maintaining related documentation
• Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training, or commitment to participate in staff development programs
• Must be available for onsite work only (remote assignments are not offered for this role)

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and adapt curriculum for students with emotional and behavioral challenges
• Assess student progress and modify interventions as necessary
• Develop, maintain, and implement compliant IEPs and related documents
• Collaborate with other educators, families, and service providers to ensure holistic support
• Participate in ongoing training and staff development opportunities
• Maintain awareness of students’ diverse backgrounds and learning needs
