Grand Home Automation Inc is seeking a Senior A/V Technician. This position requires experience in A/V system design, installation, cable termination, and basic skills in programming and program management. Primary duties would be field installation and service for our clients in the greater Michigan area. Individual should be self-motivated, detailed oriented with good organizational and leadership skills and should have ability to deal with customers in a professional friendly manner. Individual must be capable of managing, conducting, and finishing all projects in an efficient and professional manner. Position requires periodic out of area travel. Background check and drug testing is required for all Grand Home team members. Position offers long term employment potential and career advancement. Grand Home Automation, Inc. is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with satellite operations in Detroit, MI and Chicago Illinois Skills / Requirements

– A/V Residential Installation experience required – Organizational and Leadership qualities – Detailed Oriented – Capable of reading drawings – blueprints/schematics – Cable termination skills – Use of electronic tools for calibration – troubleshooting – IT knowledge is beneficial – Experienced in installing and configuring: Control 4, Crestron, AMX, Lutron, Panasonic & GE Security
