Position Summary The role involves operating forklifts, managing inventory, ensuring safety, providing member service, and supporting club operations. The position requires adherence to company policies, standards of ethics, and collaborative teamwork. Responsibilities Operate a forklift safely and effectively, following company guidelines to pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets. Manage inventory flow by receiving stock, organizing merchandise, and maintaining accurate records and logs. Maintain sales floor presentation, using zoning, stocking, rotation, and display standards to promote merchandise. Provide member service by acknowledging members, guiding technology use, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues. Conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting procedures, and handle hazardous materials per company policy. Assist with club pick‑up orders and stage merchandise for pick‑up or in‑store usage. Track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage. Report poor inventory practices, low in‑stock levels, and unsafe forklift conditions to management. Proactively identify customers who need help and assist them with technology services. Support team morale by embracing differences, building strong relationships, mentoring, and communicating positively. Act with integrity, supporting Walmart's values and maintaining a high standard of ethics and compliance. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Customer Service Experience. Retail Experience. Experience supervising a team.
