Position Summary Lead and develop stores teams effectively through teaching and training, active listening, and providing feedback. Tour stores, communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, merchandising, and company direction. Introduce and lead company change efforts, provide clear expectations, and guide teams to implement business solutions. Model exceptional customer service standards, manage and support service initiatives, resolve complaints, develop action plans, and lead process improvement to ensure a high‑quality customer experience. Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, controlling expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes. Mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Supervise and develop hourly associates—hire, train, mentor, assign duties, set expectations, recognize achievements, and promote a belonging mindset. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, set goals, measure progress, address improvement opportunities, and promote continuous learning. Ensure compliance with company policies and support Walmart’s mission, values, and ethical standards. Foster a culture of belonging, respect for individuals, attract, retain, and develop talent. Act with integrity, serve customers and members, balance short‑term and long‑term priorities, and strive for excellence. Qualifications Minimum: 2 years of college; OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience. For firearm facilities: successful completion of a firearms‑specific CBC and Firearms Authorized Training. For ammunition facilities: current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility (if applicable). Required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U, Bellevue University). 5+ direct reports with performance‑management, mentoring, hiring, and firing responsibilities.
