Instrumentation Technician

Instrumentation TechnicianFor over 40 years in business, this engineering and systems integration firm is seeking an Instrumentation Technician for its Minneapolis, MN location. This role is a mix of field service and panel shop support, with responsibilities focused on instrumentation start-up, calibration, troubleshooting, and control system support for industrial projects. The position plays an important customer-facing role, supporting project success through hands-on technical work, equipment modifications, and maintaining strong client relationships. Local travel to customer sites is required, along with time spent building and testing UL508A control panels in the shop.The ideal candidate will have at least two years of industrial controls or instrumentation experience and be comfortable working with PLCs, motor controls, networking equipment, and system drawings. Candidates with a technical associate degree, industrial controls training, or a journeyman electrician background are encouraged to apply.
