Senior Billing Specialist

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established healthcare organization seeking a Senior Billing Specialist with deep expertise in Medicare and Medicaid billing. The ideal candidate brings proven experience managing the full billing cycle, resolving complex denials, and ensuring compliance with federal and state payer requirements. Key responsibilities Prepare, review, and submit Medicare and Medicaid claims accurately and on time using electronic billing systems (EDI/ERA) Manage the full revenue cycle including charge entry, claim scrubbing, payment posting, and account reconciliation Research and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments; file appeals as needed Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and state Medicaid requirements Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding claims to maximize collections Stay current on Medicare/Medicaid billing updates, fee schedule changes, and policy revisions Collaborate with clinical and coding staff to resolve documentation and coding issues Mentor and provide guidance to junior billing team members Generate and analyze billing reports; present findings and recommendations to management #J-18808-Ljbffr
