Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect (Public Sector Industry Experience)

Role Overview The Solution Architect leads one or more workstreams in sophisticated enterprise customer engagements. They serve as hands‑on advisors, using strong communication skills, solution and technical knowledge, Salesforce product knowledge, industry experience and consulting experience to deliver customer return on investment. Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor to the client and identify critical initiatives to grow the consulting practice. Lead and grow the community’s overall knowledge base and expertise through active contribution. Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying new technologies that drive increased business value. Collaborate across all levels of the client organization, presenting sophisticated concepts and creative, prescriptive thinking. Identify and proactively lead risk areas, ensuring issues are resolved to completion. Handle customer expectations and negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third‑party partners. Review and correct project/program direction, approach and key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable. Drive a program vision and advise on program/project strategies to enable technologies, including the Salesforce platform. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of enterprise‑level project experience using both waterfall and agile methodologies. Extensive experience with configuration and customization on the Salesforce platform. Authority level experience defining system architecture, identifying gaps and delivering comprehensive solutions. Experience leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories and providing detailed system and functional designs. Strong knowledge of business processes and wire‑framing using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc. Hands‑on technical experience with Service Cloud, OmniStudio and Public Sector (PSS) required. Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate rationale to a variety of customers. Meticulous, continuously learning, and resourceful with excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated success with large‑scale, enterprise implementations across multiple work streams. Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Preferred Qualifications Delivering high‑value business outcomes using an agile approach. Experience leading customer and/or partner success stories. Experience with Experience Cloud. Relevant Salesforce certifications and consulting experience. Public Sector Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized); dual citizenship not allowed. Agree to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position. Experience working with clients within the Public Sector industry. Experience with Salesforce GovCloud or GovCloud Plus desirable. Ability to acquire Public Trust Security Clearance (or higher) is preferred. Prior adjudications on HSPD‑12 or other federal security clearances are a plus. Travel Requirement Possible travel of about 25%, with exact requirements varying by customer.
